香港城市大學(城大)創意媒體學院與北京電影學院及美國南加州大學影視學院簽訂「三方聯盟」協議。 夏季數碼錄像製作坊(製作坊)乃「三方聯盟」下的一個創新合作計劃，為香港首個國際化的同類型專業培訓課程，對象為本港及世界各地有志在創意媒體專業方面發展的人士。課程集合三所學院的優良師資，讓學員能與世界各地不同的創意媒體專才及電影製作人學習及交流，從而提升作品的藝術及技術水平。

The School of Creative Media (SCM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) launch a ground-breaking Summer Institute 2006, an innovative film-making programme under the tripartite partnership agreement signed by CityU, the Beijing Film Academy (BFA) and the School of Cinema-Television at University of Southern California (USC).
