Supported by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer and organized by Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association with the collaboration of Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation, China Game Publishers Association (Hong Kong), Hong Kong Productivity Council, Cyberport and Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Industry Support Centre, the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2008: Digital Entertainment was concluded successfully in 9th February, 2009 at Theatre 1, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
Best Digital Entertainment Grand Award went to Asia Animation Limited for Storm Rider – Clash of Evils, which has been granted Best Digital Animation Award , Digital Animation Certificate of Merit – Best Feature Film, Digital Animation Certificate of Merit – Best Directing, and Digital Animation Certificate of Merit – Best Editing as well.
To mark the significance of the event, the organizer had invited DEI high-flyers and other VIPs to be the officiating guests. These powerful and marvelous guests included Mr. Winnif Pang, Mr. Alan Wan, Mr, Sze Yan Ngai, Mr. Jeffrey Lau, Chas and 3 nos. of VIP.
