Technical Assistant (Temp)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to support our upcoming Stop-Motion Animation Workshop, featuring an overseas industry animation expert alongside local professionals. This exciting opportunity involves assisting participants in mastering stop-motion animation techniques and ensuring a smooth technical execution of the workshop. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the learning process and providing technical support to participants.

Responsibilities:

Animation Software Support: Proficient in animation software installation, features, and functions. Assist participants in troubleshooting technical issues related to animation software during the workshop.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical support during stop-motion animation shooting. Assist participants in setting up lighting and camera equipment safely and properly. Troubleshoot technical problems that may arise during the workshop.
Equipment Management: Manage props and equipment provided for the workshop. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in working condition throughout the duration of the workshop.
Collaboration: Work closely with the workshop facilitators and local professionals to ensure the smooth execution of workshop activities. Communicate effectively with the workshop team to address any technical concerns or requirements.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of animation software installation, features, and functions.
Strong technical skills in setting up lighting and camera equipment for stop-motion animation. Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to animation production is preferred.
Experience in production or IT support roles is advantageous. Familiarity with multimedia production workflows and technical support procedures is a plus.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to support workshop facilitators and participants to ensure a positive learning experience.
Able to work from 12-14 April 2024
