“Invasion” is Disney type of animation to express positive messages in relaxing way with excellent 3D modeling design and visual effects, strong cinematic feelings as
well as smooth storytelling skills. The production team adopts a large number of Hong Kong street views as the background to bring out a humorous story of an extraterrestrial being entering the earth, which makes the audience feel good.
Under the tight budget, it is highly appreciated that the production team can produce a high-quality work in 6 months only. The team members have excellent
3D animation skills, professional knowledge and endless creativity to convey positive information to audiences. The judging panel is glad to see the original-designed characters are interesting, lovely, vivid and brisk and believe children would like these characters. Apart from the wonderful character design,
the visual effects are outstanding as the production team used a lot of local features as a blueprint to tell a simple story.
The judges believe that the open ending of “Invasion” allows the audience to imagine further. The animation has great potential for market development, such as launching a series of side-products, e.g. toys, games, etc., to enhance their brand name and promote Hong Kong animation to the other countries. |
